UPS joins Startup Canada’s #EveryEntrepreneur Tour to focus entrepreneurs on scalability and trade

Startup Canada and UPS Canada, the world’s largest package delivery company and a provider of supply chain management solutions, have partnered to celebrate and stimulate entrepreneurship across Canada. Together, the partners will position entrepreneurs for global success during Startup Canada’s upcoming #EveryEntrepreneur Tour and distinguish those who have made advancements in their global strategy at the Startup Canada Awards.

The #EveryEntrepreneur Tour will launch on Oct. 14 in Halifax, N.S., and land in six Canadian cities before concluding in Toronto, Ont. on Dec. 14. At each stop, entrepreneurs looking to export to scale their companies are invited to participate in Go Global bootcamp-style training sessions presented by UPS. During this session, entrepreneurs will hear How I Went Global stories from local business owners, listen to a Going Global 101 Lecture from a local academic or practitioner from a partner organization, and UPS will provide tips and advice to entrepreneurs on exporting and the global supply chain. Economic Development Canada, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Trade Commissioner Services Regional Experts, C100 and entrepreneurs who do business with Asia, Latin America, the United States, Europe and Africa will be on hand for carousel mentorship. The UPS Team will also be on hand for support and mentorship at their Coffee Lounge and exhibitor space during a day-long trade show.

Following an action-packed day filled with sessions and keynote speakers, Startup Canada and UPS will draw national attention to Canadian businesses demonstrating excellence in global sales, operations, supply chain management and market presence. Regional winners and runners-up for the Startup Canada Award for International Trade, presented by UPS, will be celebrated at five of the seven tour stops.

Each #EveryEntrepreneur stop will wrap up with a Startup Launch Party, which celebrates local entrepreneurship and innovation with startups, investors, supporters, corporations, government and media in attendance.
