PayPal Canada joins Startup Canada’s #EveryEntrepreneur Tour as a key sponsor to help entrepreneurs grow their sales and marketing channels

Startup Canada and PayPal Canada, a global digital payments leader, have collaborated to energize and encourage entrepreneurship across Canada. PayPal will mentor startups and small businesses and equip them with the knowledge to help grow their sales and marketing channels during Startup Canada’s #EveryEntrepreneur Tour.

“Startups are built on great ideas and passion, but to succeed they also need strong sales and marketing channels,” said Startup Canada CEO Victoria Lennox. “We are delighted to team up with PayPal this year. With their help, we will connect entrepreneurs across the country with mentors and industry experts so they can share their experiences, get feedback and learn important skills to grow their business.”

The #EveryEntrepreneur Tour launched on October 14th in Halifax, N.S., and will land in six Canadian cities before concluding in Toronto on December 14th. At each stop, entrepreneurs looking to develop their sales and marketing skills are invited to participate in a Sales and Marketing training and coaching session, presented by PayPal. During this session, entrepreneurs will hear from successful business owners, leading industry experts and thought leaders. A full panel of experts will also be on hand for questions during the session.

Each #EveryEntrepreneur stop will wrap up with an after party, which will bring together startups, investors, supporters, corporations, government and media to celebrate local entrepreneurship and innovation.
