About Nadia Ladak
Nadia (she/her) is the founder of Marlow, a FemTech start-up that has developed the first-ever tampon & lubricant designed to be used together for smoother insertion. She is passionate about empowering a generation of menstruators to prioritize their menstrual & sexual health by sparking conversations around these awkward (but shouldn’t be) topics. Previously, she worked as a management consultant at KPMG where she worked across a number of retail clients in go-to-market strategy, customer experience, and e-commerce projects. Nadia is committed to giving back to her community through her role as a catalyst board member at Holland Bloorview Children’s Hospital and as a mentor for the Junior Achievement Company Program where she provides weekly coaching to high school students as they operate their own small businesses. Nadia has also spoken at universities across Canada with the goal of inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders and increasing the representation and support for female founders across the Canadian entrepreneurial ecosystem. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing her guitar, and spending time outside biking, hiking, and backcountry camping.
About the business
Marlow
Marlow is committed to making the uncomfortable, comfortable, starting with the first-ever lubricant and tampon designed to be used together for smoother insertion. Inserting tampons can be an uncomfortable process especially for those who are new to using tampons, for those who have pelvic floor conditions like vaginismus, for those with vaginal dryness, or for those who have a lighter flow especially towards the beginning and end of their cycle. The product consists of 100% organic cotton tampons with a bottle of lubricant engineered to perfectly coat the tampon in one easy, mess-free dip. No one will ever have to insert a dry, uncomfortable tampon again – plus they’re conveniently delivered straight to your door through a subscription model. Beyond the product, the team of female founders is empowering a generation of menstruators to prioritize their menstrual & sexual wellness by sparking conversations around these awkward (but shouldn’t be) topics.
